My Approach to Mediation

As a Nationally Certified Professional Mediator (NACM), I view mediation as more than a legal option — it’s a human process.
Each session is guided by three principles:

  • Neutrality: I don’t take sides or make judgments.
  • Structure: We follow a clear, step-by-step process to keep discussions focused and respectful.
  • Confidence: You remain in control of the outcome, not a judge or jury.

My goal is to create an environment that helps you speak honestly, listen actively, and identify solutions that feel balanced and lasting.

What Mediation Offers

People often turn to mediation when:

  • Communication has become difficult, and a fair process helps reset the tone.
  • Court feels too adversarial or expensive.
  • They want privacy and the freedom to shape their own agreements.

Mediation supports outcomes that are voluntary, practical, and durable — crafted by the participants themselves.

What You Can Expect

When you engage in mediation, you can expect:

  • A confidential process grounded in Illinois Supreme Court mediation rules.
  • A safe and neutral environment to discuss concerns openly.
  • A results-oriented framework designed to reach agreements efficiently.
  • A flexible mediation session, meeting in-person or remotely, 7 days per week.

Whether your case involves family matters, small business issues, landlord-tenant concerns, or other civil disputes, I facilitate the conversation so you can focus on resolution — not reaction.

Moving Forward Together

Legal disputes are stressful, but resolution doesn’t have to be combative.
Through clear communication and guided structure, mediation puts you back in control of both the process and the outcome.

Let’s move forward — respectfully, practically, and with integrity.
